Tiki the very sweet and beautiful Shepherd-Cross was born with deformed back legs – as a result of bad breeding, probably.
She was given to the local Municipality Dog Pounds where she went straight to the “Death list” .
Most fortunately someone felt sorry for her – young , friendly and beautiful and ask us to rescue her at tha last moment before she was meant to be put down.
We took her into our care , rehabilitate her emotionaly and now that she is at her full size – we are going to get “new legs” for her!!
New legs – prosthesis ones made by a “human” professional especially to fit her legs’ size.
Please have a look at this video showing the happy procedure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmlniEy17Sw&feature=youtu.be
We will keep you informed once she get her legs and can run , play and walk like the rest of the dogs at our shelter and hopefuly – gets to be re-homed as well!
